Monetization and payouts

On CAICHAT, creators earn income from their characters. The more people chat with your characters, the more you earn. You can withdraw the money or exchange it for tokens.

💡 Where the income comes from

• Chats with your characters. When users spend tokens in chats with your characters, part of those tokens goes to you as the creator.
• Paid access. If you made a character paid, you earn from every access purchase. See Creating a character.
• Invited users. Through the referral program you get a percentage of the purchases and spending of the people you invited.
• Leaderboard rewards. The best creators of the month get prizes. See Leaderboard.

What helps you earn

Public characters with an interesting premise, a good avatar, accurate tags and a well-thought-out first message get more chats. Reply to comments in discussions and publish new characters regularly: your followers will see them in their feed.

📈 Where to see your income

Open Profile → Monetization. Once money appears on your creator balance, a Monetization item with the amount in dollars also shows up in the left menu.

The “Chatbots” tab — income for each character: how much it brought in, how many chats and users it had. Choose the period with the buttons from one day (1D) to all time (All). A switch shows either only the characters that bring in income, or all of them.

The “Billing” tab — your balance:

• Total income — how much you have earned over all time;
• Revenue available to withdraw — how much you can withdraw now;
• the withdrawal history with statuses.

💸 How to withdraw money

1. Open Profile → Monetization → Billing and click Withdraw funds.

2. Choose a withdrawal method. The list of methods and the minimum amount for each are shown in the form.

3. Enter the amount, an email for contact about the request, and your payout details: for example, a crypto wallet address.

4. Check the fee and the final amount and click Create request.

Once the request is created, the amount is frozen on your balance. Requests are processed manually for security reasons, and the money arrives within a few days. The request status is shown in the withdrawal history.

A transfer to the wrong crypto wallet address can’t be reversed. Copy the whole address and check it before submitting the request.

Withdrawal rules

• The Withdraw funds button becomes active when your balance is at least $10. Some withdrawal methods have a higher minimum — it is shown in the form.
• Withdrawals of $100 or more require identity verification (KYC). Write to support about it.
• While a withdrawal request is being processed, you can’t exchange funds for tokens.

⚡ Exchanging income for tokens

Instead of withdrawing, you can exchange income for tokens: choose the Conversion to paid tokens method and a token pack in the withdrawal form. The exchange happens instantly, and the tokens are added to your balance. These are purchased tokens, so they turn on the Active plan. See Tokens.

Why isn’t my character earning anything?

Income appears when people actively chat with the character: spend tokens in chats or buy access to it. Make the character public and noticeable — a good avatar, description and tags help it get into collections and search.

The “Withdraw funds” button is inactive

Your balance is below $10 — the minimum withdrawal amount. Once your income reaches it, the button becomes active.

I can’t withdraw $100 or more

Larger withdrawals require identity verification (KYC). Write to support and they’ll tell you how to complete it. Amounts under $100 are withdrawn without verification.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Requests are processed manually, usually within a few days. An exchange for tokens happens instantly.
